I’ve known Stephen for around 12 years. And when I first heard about Allison I knew she must be special because Stephen would talk about her with a big smile on his face!
When he asked me if I could photograph his proposal (and eventually his wedding) I instantly said yes after freaking out with excitement đŸ™‚
Stephen really was able to surprise Allison and had his family, friends and her friends all in on it too!
The exact location is the Bucky Ball at Crystal Bridges.
Fall is one of the craziest times of the year for a photographer.
Why? Well, because the trees start showing off in the fall and they’re so pretty people want photos with them!!
This year fall came late and sometimes it felt like a game to find trees with pretty orange, yellow, and red leaves.
All of these photos were from mini sessions, which are 20 minutes long. đŸ™‚

Who doesn’t love a good vineyard engagement session?!
Ya’ll, this session was HOT.
We had to stop and cool down at the winery at one point!
But Tarah and Edwin just look like they’re glowing so it all worked out perfectly đŸ™‚
P.S keep scrolling to see that last 3 images, which were my favorite from this shoot!
2020 ya’ll. What a year. Many people experienced job losses and losses in many other ways.
But we made it!
I know many business didn’t make it through CoVid and I’m beyond thankful that mine did! So, I wanted to give back… to give back to the NWA community (and my clients!) so I decided to do mini sessions where people could pay what they can!
These sessions were so much fun.. even though it was 85ish degrees out!
These were all taken in Downtown Bentonville đŸ™‚
Wedding Invitations and save the date cards. Ya’ll. For some reason wedding invitations (and our cake) were the hardest decisions for me. I spent more time researching and looking at wedding invitation sights than I spent looking at Wedding Decor! All I knew for my invites was that I wanted something affordable but yet still unique and pretty. Plus I wanted them to be colorful and for some reason that’s hard to find.
After reading reviews online, I ended up at Basic Invites (https://www.basicinvite.com). For a few reasons.. One: They had colorful invites!!! Two: They were QUICK. Three: I asked way too many questions before I purchased anything and they were super nice. Oh, and Four: The price! Also I loved everything I saw on their Instagram page (https://www.instagram.com/basicinvite/) which sounds silly but it showed me how many options they had!!
If you have been to my house then you’ve most likely walked into my kitchen and noticed all of the magnets on the fridge. They make me happy! Anytime we get any invitation or sweet letter, I post them on the fridge. For our wedding we didn’t have time to send out save the date cards because of how fast we planned our wedding but if we did I would’ve used their cheap save the date magnets!! Actually, I’m kinda sad now that I didn’t do that. Because I love the idea of a save the date magnet!
A few fun facts about Basic Invites:
There are over 180 different color options which means your card can be exactly how you want it, down to the littlest detail. You can even change the color of each element on a card! Also you get to see an instant preview right when you make a color change! Personally, I changed almost all the colors in my invites so that they were fully unique.
They have free wedding websites that are completely customizable. They’re mobile friendly and super easy to use. You can instantly upload all of your wedding details, along with images, and a convenient map with directions for your guests. Choose from 180 custom colors, and a design suite to match your wedding invitations!
Basic Invite allows customers the ability to order a printed sample of their invitation so they can see the card’s paper quality and how it will print before they have to place their final order. This allows for you to catch typos too!
There are over 900 wedding invitation sets. 900. Let that sink in! Each wedding invitation is part of a set. They have all the wedding stationery you need, like save the dates, save the date magnets, wedding invitations, enclosure cards, wedding menus, wedding programs, and even matching thank you cards!
Another one of my favorite services was the free address collection service. It was so easy. All I had to do was share a link via social media, text, or email! Then all of the addresses went into one spot and they were printed directly onto my envelopes. This was a HUGE time saver for me.
They have colorful envelope options!! You bet I got some colorful envelopes too (yellow). You can choose from over 40 different envelope colors so that your invitation stands out even before it is opened. All of the envelopes are peel and seal so the envelopes can be closed quickly and easily.
And speaking of envelopes.. The seal and send wedding invitations are an all-in-one wedding invitation with a tear-off RSVP postcard include. The Seal & Send is a new collection! These are something I for sure would’ve used. Currently, they have them in over 30 designs including the popular foil options and they are customizable. Once you receive your order all you have to do is add postage, fold your invites, and secure them with a sticker! Simple and easy.
