Fall is one of the craziest times of the year for a photographer.
Why? Well, because the trees start showing off in the fall and they’re so pretty people want photos with them!!
This year fall came late and sometimes it felt like a game to find trees with pretty orange, yellow, and red leaves.
All of these photos were from mini sessions, which are 20 minutes long. 🙂
Laura contacted me about wanting family photos done and after a little bit of discussion, we decided to do them at some gorgeous willow trees in Rogers! I say this all the time but I really love family photos. It may be because my own family photos mean so much to me now… but whatever the reason, there’s something about having current photos of your loved ones all in one place.
Family sessions with little ones are one of my favorite things.. just because I get to watch little ones play! Plus I usually get lots of funny faces. These were taken in Downtown Rogers in the Spring 🙂
When my clients say they like to have fun.. I know the session will be fun as well!
We decided to explore downtown Bentonville a little then finish the evening at a park 🙂
Fun fact… These were taken in a random field beside off a main road in Bentonville!
Also Vanessa is seriously glowing in all of these.
Years ago (in 2017) I photographed Caleb and Audreys wedding at 21C in Bentonville. And this year I got to take their maternity photos and celebrate them as they waited to meet their sweet lil girl.
2020 ya’ll. What a year. Many people experienced job losses and losses in many other ways.
But we made it!
I know many business didn’t make it through CoVid and I’m beyond thankful that mine did! So, I wanted to give back… to give back to the NWA community (and my clients!) so I decided to do mini sessions where people could pay what they can!
These sessions were so much fun.. even though it was 85ish degrees out!
These were all taken in Downtown Bentonville 🙂
Here are 3 reason why I love fall mini sessions and think you should too!
1: It’s fall in Arkansas. Which means orange, red, and yellow leaves and pretty 70ish and 60 degree weather. It’s just pretty, ya’ll.
2: Mini sessions are a great way to get updated family photos for cheaper!
3: If you have a family member who hates to have their photo taken, or a child who has a short attention span, mini sessions are really the best. You’ll get the photos you want (hopefully plus more!) without having to spend hours at a photoshoot.
Mini sessions are perfect for those who want a smaller amount of images (around 15), are okay with me choosing the location (in Rogers or Bentonville), and have a small shot list of images they want.
